Static Discharge = Damage Regarding the cable - my theory is that when removing and reinstalling the cdrw, the ribbon cable connector (usually black) may have become damaged. Now that I feel it is fully resolved, I thought Iâ€™d share my conclusion (and the process) â€“ hopefully it will help few others out there who are struggling with this.
